Elon's progress about the future leads to create technology with sustainable energy. Based on that, his elevations in Tesla bought modernized developments in the automobile field (i.e.) Electric cars. Here we can understand " What makes Tesla unique ? " ( based on hardware and software )

Cruise control and Autopilot feature

The technology inside the Tesla is more specific. One of the best is the Autopilot mode. All Tesla cars have capable of bringing autopilot mode today and full-driving capabilities will be done in future software updates. To enhance autopilot mode, pull down the lever once to activate traffic-aware cruise control and pull down the lever twice to activate autopilot then check the activation via speedometer's left and right sides by indicating in blue light respectively. While giving signals via indicators, cars can change their lane by itself. Speed can be varied by adjusting rolling buttons on the steering wheel. To end this mode, push the lever back. 

 

Autopilot enables the car to steer, accelerate, and brake automatically within its lane and the current autopilot mode requires the driver to stay active. Especially this mode is for the highway. Tesla includes many electronic devices for contributing autopilot, safety lane changing and parking sensitivities are listed :

• 8 surrounding cameras for 360-degree visibility, the range is up to 250 meters. 

• 12 ultrasonic sensors for the detection of obstacles nearby.

• A front-facing radar for providing extra data while smog, dust, heavy rain, and even a car ahead.
  

  
  

Wide, main, and narrow front cameras are fitted behind the windshield to detect high range. With these devices, Tesla can pick up you anywhere via a signal received from your mobile.

After fetching an update, a full-driving capability is enabled. In that feature when you send a signal, Tesla waits at your doorstep then you get inside, it asks you to navigate your destination. If you don't say anything, it checks the calendar that to pinned any location on that day then it starts moving and arrives you at the location you chose. After leaving a car, it finds a parking spot nearby and parked itself. 

 

Similarly, additional advancements include: 

• Many features can unlock Tesla such as a key card ( placing a card on side of door car gets unlocked ), phone key ( unlock your car using Bluetooth connectivity in a phone ), and key fob ( all doors and trunk can be opened and closed by touching a key ).

• The ground clearance can be adjusted for required needs through a smart air suspension system.

• Gear selection can be done plainly by pushing up reverse is enabled, by pushing down drive takes place, by pushing inside parking is done and by hold down for a sec car is at neutral. 

• Auto park mode -If the driver spots the parking area, drive ahead till the light gets power after the light is on shift the gear to reverse and press start then Tesla parks itself.

• Through a neural cloud network, Tesla can sense the home and control electronic devices using home-link technology.

• While charging, an indication is provided via lights. (white - ready, blue - preparing to charge, green - charging) 

• Collision avoidance and automotive emergency braking systems are activated for safety purposes.

Overall the on-board computer increased processing power up to 40% than the previous generation. Tesla will continuously be upgraded through over the air software updates and develop neural net for vision.
